BAC Local 5 New York Union Information
PLEASE NOTE
Any member refusing to go to work
when called out will be automatically terminated from the Welfare Plan and
lose their medical benefits.
This office has had numerous
complaints about some Local 5 members checking the books of other members.
This is a violation of our Constitution and also against the law.
Only Field Representatives and Shop Stewards have the right to
inspect union books.
Anyone interested in taking this class please contact the office at
845-565-8344. Please be aware that as of July 2008 OSHA training
certification has been mandated by New
York State.
If you have taken the OSHA 10 class outside of BAC Local 5 NY please
notify the office so that we can update our records. We will need a copy
of your certification for our files.
